- To create the stripes, use a toothpick or dotting tool to apply a thin layer of black polish onto your nails. Then go back with white polish and carefully draw in the lines between them. If you want to add an extra touch of flair, try using a thin brush instead of an applicator tool.

6. Rose gold hearts
What you’ll need:
- Nail polish remover
- Cotton balls or pads
- Nail art pen in a heart shape (or any shape you want)

Step 1: Paint your nails red and white stripes.

You will need:
- Clear base coat (optional)
- Black nail polish
- Sponge to create a heart shape
- Top coat for shine (optional)
How to do it:
1. Apply the clear base coat, then paint your nails black.
2. Using a sponge that is covered in water, create a heart shape on each of your nails, then dry them with a paper towel or cloth until they’re no longer wet but still damp enough for the next step to work well.
3. Use another piece of cloth or paper towel as an applicator and apply a topcoat over the heart design you created using your sponge and water mixture.”

- Apply a matte black nail polish.
- Add some iridescent glitter.
- Use a top coat to seal it in.

The first step is to shape your nails by using a nail file. Nails can be slightly curved or straight, depending on the length and thickness of your finger. Apply a base coat to protect your nails from staining and make sure that the color stays put. The second step is to apply a top coat to seal in the design, prevent chipping, and make it last longer than usual (up 10 days). Finally, use a dotting tool or toothpick to create hearts on each nail as shown above.
