  1. These were really good but I thought they could be better. I reduced the feta cheese amount by half (I'm not that fond of the feta taste). I left out the green onions, but they would be fine to leave in too. But my favorite change was spreading a thin layer of green pepper jelly (homemade) over the tortilla and then adding the cheese-cranberry mixture. I used a heaping tablespoon full of the pepper jelly on each tortilla, just enough to give these pinwheels a spicy-sweet taste and a colorful red & green look. YMMMM!

  2. Brought these to Thanksgiving and they were raved about! I had a hard time spreading the cream cheese as thin as I wanted it, so I added a bit of sour cream to make it more spreadable.

  3. I made this as finger food for the afternoon before our Canadian Thankgiving dinner. I made 1/2 with ham, half without. They were great as is but also would be very good wiith dried blueberries too. I think I may may some with arugula added in as well. They were devoured. My brother is hosting Christmas dinner and he asked me to bring these. Thanks for posting this very versatile recipe!

  4. I've made these twice since Sunday... the plate was cleared in no time at both functions. I followed the recipe exactly, used both spinach and sun dried tomato tortillas. Very nice presentation, and they tasted great. Many commented on the Christmas colors. I now have two great wraps to use for any upcoming event. The other is #417499. Thanks for a great recipe!

  5. If the concern is the strong taste/smell of onion, use 1 cp of minced chives in place of the green onion.

Tweaks

  1. I also reduce the feta and green onions by 1/3.

  2. I use 1/2 cup Gorgonzola cheese and add chopped hazelnuts — been making these for Thanksgiving and Christmas for the last several years and they’re a huge hit.

  3. Yes. I reduced the Feta cheese by half.

  4. I made these without the onion and used spinach tortillas. They were gorgeous on the plate! I found the feta to be a bit strong and next time I will probably use only 1/2 cup. I am thinking some finely chopped pecans would be a nice addition. Cannot wait to try these with bleu cheese instead of the feta, too. Thanks, Derf!
