Excellent

This recipe is easy to follow and understand. It is not to complicated.

Personally I don’t like the Nice biscuits so much. I recommend using the Arnotts butternut biscuits. Make it the night before. Waaaayyyyy better than Tennis biscuits too.
I use 4-5 peppermint crisps and to make it extra minty a shot of peppermint liqueur and 1/4 teaspoons peppermint essence.

Have made it for my daughter’s 16th birthday a day ahead - as South Africans living abroad peppermint crisps are expensive, but I definitely would use 3-4 bars instead of the one this recipe calls for - three for the mixture, one for the grated topping. Most South African recipes call for 4-5 bars

Awesome

Wow.

Yummylicious to all of them, there goes my weight problem but that's fine with me.

I was really lost then I found this now I'm better than my mother

It's delicious

Excellent! Slightly heavier sponge that works well as a single layer cake.

Fabulous and so easy to make. I live in SA but your recipe came up first which I found hilarious

Easy to make, doubled it to save time and it was perfect. Haven't tasted it yet but by the reviews, I see its not that sweet (my only concern)

Good traditional peppermint crisp tert.
Couldn't get orley whip and just wanted to know how much cream to use.
You get the mint caramel treat in South Africa

Can I use canned cream

Very helpful recipes and great presentation

This recipe is easy thanks. I love it thanks again

Now a definite family favourite. I have to take to BBQ's for the dessert. Super quick & easy to make & soooo delicious

Amazing recipe...really yummy. Taste like a piece of South Africa.

Looks easy enough.

I am definitely going to try it with fresh cream as I always make it with olly whip. It looks delicious though. Thanks

Awesome and a must try

Loved this recipe! Simple, easy to follow instructions, ingredients that are readily available in any supermarket and its was an instant hit with family and friends.

I had to do the recipe for a school project it was very nice.

No different to the original recipe.. How is this an adaptation?

Came out perfect :)

You can mix caramel..peppermint choc and cream together and spoon over biscuits..keep some chocolate to sprinkle over top

Good recipe

Great easy steps to follow.

Very well detailed and easy to make , i am so happy and excited to try this , thanks alot...♥️

Easy to make and delicious

I changed it a bit...had too much of the mint crisp version. I used broken ginger biscuits which I added to the cream mix, I also used the ginger biscuit flavoured chocolate slab, which I grated over the top.
Ginger is one of my favourite things.

Best ever!! My absolute favorite sweet treat.

This was amazing.

Such a good recipe, it may look like a very sweet recipe, but actually it's not that sweet, and it sooooooooo yummy and so easy to make too. Doesn't necessarily have to be a mint tart, my mum is allergic to mint so she used a different type of chocolate.

This is delicious and also very easy to make.

Great recipe and easy to make.

I’m South African and this is my favorite variation of the dish. I usually only put the peppermint crisp on the top rather than in the layers.

I made this for my daughter-in-law and her father who are South African and it was a big hit. They were delighted.

Perfect! If you can't find Peppermint Crisp, you could also try Cadbury's new block of Milk Dark Delicate Crispy Mint. Works just as well and is ever so slightly less sweet.

Tried it, and it was absolutely delicious. I've added this recipe to my cook book and looking forward to making it again.

Amazing peppermint crisp tart recipe. Tastes like home.Great to know our traditional food is loved here in NZ too.Everyone who tastes this fall in love and ask for the recipe.
I will try the Arnotts Nice biscuits next time , but doubt that anything can beat a Tennis biscuit base.
Thanks for the the tip what to use instead and where to get it.
