Enhancing your healthy, glowing smile

Preventative teeth cleanings are a cornerstone of lasting oral health. Professional cleanings are important to helping reduce the risk of tooth decay and gum disease.

Our dental hygiene team not only ensures your smile stays clean but also teaches you oral hygiene tips to maintain a healthy smile between routine checkups.

Because many diseases and conditions first show signs in your mouth, good dental health and a strong relationship with your dental office are important steps in your overall health. Teeth cleanings allow us to identify and treat issues at an early stage when they are smaller and less invasive to manage. In addition to safeguarding your smile, we assess the well-being of your gums to help prevent any unwelcome surprises down the road. Preventive dental care can help you reduce or avoid future costs by preventing and finding potential issues sooner.

Most insurance plans cover two preventative care visits a year. Staying ahead of plaque and tartar buildup contributes to improved oral health, bolstering your immune system and enhancing your smile’s brightness.

By establishing good oral habits and not skipping your twice a year cleanings, you can smile more knowing that you are helping lower the likelihood of gum disease, tooth decay, and dental emergencies.

Why choose Dartmoor Dental for your teeth cleaning care?

At Dartmoor Dental, we prioritize an exceptional patient experience, providing comfortable care and professional cleanings to promote healthy teeth for life. If it has been six months or longer since your last dental checkup, schedule your next visit with us today.

We had our first consult my 2 kids and I on Wednesday 9/20 @4:30. From the moment we got there we were greeted with smiles, by Lucy filled out the forms and the wait was not long until we were all brought back for X-rays by Ela who was awesome. The dental hygienist both Becky and Renata were absolutely AMAZING!! The dentist Dr. Bojan was awesome as well very easy going. I am really trying to keep this as short as possible because I could write a whole essay. I was more than satisfied, the communication was excellent, they gave all 3 of us a treatment plan they were transparent with the out of pocket prices which were not as bad as I imagined, they were so patient with my 8 year old son, they even shared their snacks with him as he grew hangry waiting on me to finish my cleaning. Doreen was just so helpful and gave me a warm fuzzy feeling that upon checking out and soaking the experience in I could not help but to shed happy tears because I felt a sense I had found THE ONE like theee dental office I wanted to stick with moving forth having had bad experiences before coming here. Truly God sent and I couldn’t be more grateful for this Amazon group. THANK YOU guys. I love you all Adding a picture of my sons journal from that night. He was just as grateful as I was and that’s a lot coming from an 8 year old boy

We have been going to Dartmoor Dental for almost 10 years. My oral and dental health went massively downhill after my pregnancies, I went from never having any issues besides the rare cavity to getting a dental implant after a molar with an old filling broke one day. Denise, the hygienist always takes great care of my teeth during the cleaning appointments. She is very careful to not cause any discomfort and is very friendly as well.During the first 2 years of the Covid19 pandemic i skipped my routine cleanings and any dental appointment due to health concerns related to a medical condition I have. I came back to discover a complete disaster in my mouth and i have needed a tremendous amount of work done over the past 15 months (a root canal, several crowns, multiple fillings and maintenance... you name it!) so i have spent a lot of time on Dr Dave's chair getting everything stabilized, more than i'd like to admit.Dr Dave has done a great job fixing my teeth, i rarely if ever experienced any disconfort during or after the various treatments. Even the anesthesia is smooth as he uses his buzzer to "distract the nerve".Now that all the tough work is done, i can finally get that crown placed on top of my implant next year and i wouldn't go anywhere else but Dartmoor Dental to get it done. I also appreciate the ladies assisting Dr Dave who are always very friendly and good company while waiting for the anesthetics to kick in.Kuddos to the ladies at the front desk, always friendly and helpful with questions i have or billing purposes. They even work with me when insurance claim payments lagged behind once i got into rollover benefits to cover my treatments. My husband and I look forward to continue getting our dental care in this practice, as we know we'll be getting high quality work done. Our children will soon be coming there as they are getting older and no longer need to see the pediatric dentist.
