Had a great experience. Clean & comfy chairs. A little bit more expensive than other spots but worth it.

I discovered K's Nails when I was looking for a salon a few years ago. I wanted to find a place that was quiet, comfortable and reasonably priced. Let's face it, getting our nails done is always about more than just nails. The bonus hand/forearm massage for manicures, and the foot/calve massage for pedicures is often worth more than the color of your nails. Not to mention the massage chair. I always leave feeling so pampered, I'm almost guilty for feeling so good. But only almost.Their selection of colors and services never leave me wanting for more. The staff is friendly and very invested in giving clients a positive experience. I don't get to come as often as I like; when I do I know I'm leaving as a brand new woman. Read Less

I went to nail salon today, 11/22/17, to get a full set and was waited on right away. However, three people walked in a few minutes later for pedicures and there wasn’t enough staff to assist all of them. The nail tech assisting me left my fingers soaking (removing gel polish) and went to do the pedicure for one of the ladies in the group. My fingers began tingling after soaking so long. A different person finally came to tend to me and I said I just want to leave. I was then charged $10 for soaking off gel nail polish. Never returning again! Read Less

The staff was nice enough. The problem was they stuck me with someone who didn't understand straight, square, thick or thin. I asked for a gel French tip, and usually I am asked before they start how I want the nail shaped. She didn't ask, she just started filing round. When I noticed, I told her immediately that I wanted them square, or straight across. She just made an agreeable sound and kept filing the same way until I had to ask if someone who spoke English could help her understand. They said she spoke English but then proceeded to discuss something in their native language. Someone else came up to ask what it is I wanted and I had to explain something I am usually asked at the start. When the cuticles were pushed down it hurt. When I tried to explain I didn't want the tips to be to thin, that I wanted them thicker... that was another whole ordeal of having someone else come over and explain. Then when it came to the actual shape of the French tip it wasn't subtle, the polish on the sides were far down the nail, with a huge curve. That was another ordeal trying to explain, while I didn't want them straight across, I didn't want the polish on the sides half way down my nail. It took her an hour and twenty minutes to complete. If you look closely it's not very neat. She left some polish on my fingers and some clear gel on the skin at the tips of my finger. She just seemed really confused and that confused me. I honestly just wanted to be out of there by the end of it. She gave a really good message at the end. Probably the best I've experienced after a manicure. However the lotion she used smelled terrible and about ten minutes after I left my skin started itching terribly, I washed with soap and water as soon as I arrived home. I haven't had that reaction to lotion before. Maybe she just wasn't very experienced with French tips, but that made it a very long and stressful experience for me compounded by her not understanding anything I said about the shape or how I wanted the tip. I think she did try her best though, and I felt bad for her so I didn't take away from her tip. However, I just can't see myself going back there to risk another exhausting, unsatisfactory manicure. Wish I had read reviews before going in !! Cute shop was greeted upon entering :) that was the highlight of my first and last visit! Lady who greeted me told me to pick a polish for my manicure.. No problem pick a color and have a seat at her table ! In walks a regular customer who needed her nails done ... Next thing I know the lady grabs my coat moves my stuff down 2 chairs to give her regular client my seat in front of her?? I've now been moved to a mans station a cold bowl of water was plopped down in front of me to soak my nails! Okay not going well at this point ! Said man comes over sits down and looks at my nails ! I had just removed a set of acrylics to allow my nails a break and just wanted my stubs buffed smooth on top and polish applied !!! Nope ? I had 2 nails that had a tiny bit of acrylic remaining he apparently couldn't figure out how to remove it and proceed with my manicure ! Besides removing with acetone soaking they can be drilled off or removed with cuticle nippers .. Mind you my nail beds look a mess from the acrylic being removed so he surely wouldn't have hurt them any worse! We are now 15 minutes in and not close to painting ? Finally he thought it would be acceptable to just put polish over the two nails that still had a coat of acrylic over them ! Did I mention he had the personality of a rock ? No how are you today ? Do you live nearby ? Anything ?? ! I could tell this was not going to get any better nor was he going to remove the rest of the acrylic so I had to get up and leave in the middle! Mind you I have been wearing and removing acrylic nails for 30 years and hold a manicure license !! This was not good and I'm mad I gave him 5$ for that rotten experience! Never again!!! Read Less

Today was my first visit to K's and I'm sold. My nails look great and I plan to go back for future fill-ins. I have naturally tiny nails that don't like to grow long, so acrylics are my best hope...several nail salon visits have ended in pain with hurt cuticles, but not here. No nicks or cuts from overzealous usage of tools! My nails are so even and not overly thick...I can't quit admiring them. ;) Great experience overall. Read Less

Highly recommend this place! Very clean, ALL of the staff are friendly, and the service is the best in the area! I've tried many places in the castleton area, and I always feel like $$$s. Everyone is very professional, they listen to your requests and the price is very reasonable. It's a family own business and they take very good care of their customers. I noticed that they have many regulars that concur. I had a mani (gel) and pedi combo. Will definitely come back! Read Less

I came here for the first time with my friend. Immediately they greeted us and they were very nice. They asked us to chose a color and then they got started. I had Kenny and he was so nice. He talked to me instead of the usual awkward silence while someone does my nails. He was also very careful with my nails and even asked if I needed more coats. It did take forever to dry and even after using the fan twice it still smudged. The nail polish was also uneven just the slightest. The top coat didn't match the nail polish, as in it was uneven, and you could clearly tell where the top coat is and isn't. Overall I'm satisfied with this place and will probably come again. After a 2 month hellish project for work, my nails were in need of some serious TLC and K's Nails was able to bring them back to life. Located in the Marsh Shopping Center in Geist off of Fox Road next near the Subway, you will find K's. The salon itself is very clean and inviting. The pedicure area has 4 comfortable massage chairs that provide extra stress relief. There is also a large TV on the wall that allows you zone out watching EPSN. While the volume for the TV tends to be low in the pedi area, you can hear it out in the manicure area thanks to it being piped into the speakers. The prices are fair and in line with other nail salons in the area. If you are looking for a longer lasting manicure, I recommend the gel manicure. In the short time since my manicure, what should have destroyed it hasn't.Overall, K's is a good place to get your nails done at. Read Less
